Greetings from Manang…wish you were here!

Photo taken in early November 2010 in Manang, Nepal along the Annapurna Trek.

There was nothing more beautiful than arriving after days of tiring trekking to the lovely village of Manang, covered in a fresh coat of snow.  The day of our arrival was the only day out of almost two weeks of trekking in total, that was cloud-covered and snowing.  Thus the mighty Himalayas were unfortunately hidden underneath the clouds during one of the greatest hikes along the trail.  Yet we were rewarded the next morning to a brilliant blue sky and a beautiful village coated in brilliant white, glistening snow.  Unbelievable!
