As we neared the highest point of our Himalayan trek, at almost 18,000 feet we stopped to take a rest at this tiny little tea house in the middle of nowhere. I love this picture because it shows how small and minuscule man is in comparison to the mighty Himalayas. In a way it illustrates how insignificant we are in the grand scheme of life. Just a small dot along the way.

I love this photo Nicole! I love the contrast of the grey stone against the snow clad mountains and I love the little stools and tables outside the house. The air looks so clear and you can almost feel the cold!
Cool and very perceptive! I never thought about that contrast. I hope I can someday go back to Nepal. It really is a special place in my heart and so easy to take amazing pics, even for a novice like me!
