Greetings from Iceland..wish you were here!

Perhaps one of the reasons why I love Iceland so much is its fabulous, serene nature and its relative lack of people. After being in China, Iceland seems like heaven. There is nothing but empty space and you can drive forever through peaceful villages like this one in the picture above. It doesn’t take long to get out of the city and into the countryside. Only minutes and you are there, right in the heart of greenery and mother nature.

Thanks….! I think the barren brown winter is starting to get to me which is why I chose this picture today. We desperately need some snow! We are used to it here in the winter and it makes it so pretty.
