Greetings from the Milford Sound…wish you were here!

Traveling to New Zealand’s South Island was a magical experience.  Most of the time, we drove through the gorgeous, remote scenary feeling like we were in right smack in the set of Middle Earth from the infamous Lord of the Rings.

The further south you headed, the more beautiful and remote the land became.  I especially fell in love with the Milford Sound, a fantastic lush pathway out to the sea where we spent the night on board a small ship and had the thrill of following dolphins and sea kayaking in the calm waters of the Sound.   I remember seeing the ad “100% Pure New Zealand” and smiled to myself thinking it is smart marketing.
