Guest Postcard: Discovering Eid at Mount Sinai

Eid, Mt. Sinai (photograph credit: Zully Rosado, Spiritual World Traveler)

Eid is a young Bedouin who has been guiding people up and down Mt. Sinai daily for the last 5 years or so. When asked why he didn’t go to college and get a job in Cairo since he was so smart and spoke English so well, he made a sweeping motion with his arm and said, “Why would I leave this?” (True story)

This is a guest postcard from the talented Zully Rosado of Spiritual World Traveler. To read more of Zully’s beautiful posts on her blog, click here.  She will also be featured as a guest writer this Friday on thirdeyemom.
