Last year we spent Christmas in lovely Tucson, Arizona where my parents reside. I adore Tucson. The mountains, the desert, and the sunsets. It is a place of peace and tranquility. I love this photo taken from my parents home as the sun set across the desert sky.

Picture of sun setting over Roy Lake in Nisswa, Minnesota. From our cottage porch, I watched the sunset over this old fishing boat every night for a week. Hearing the melodic cry of the loons in the foreground, I felt at peace. It was beautiful and will sure be missed.
