“A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; and optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty”. -Sir Winston Churchill I needed some inspiration today as we continue on our long march of a relentless winter that never seems to end.
“Spring passes and one remembers one’s innocence. Summer passes and one remembers one’s exuberance. Autumn passes and one remembers one’s reverence. Winter passes and one remembers one’s perseverance.” – Yoko Ono
Greetings from Minnesota…wish you were here! Photo taken today at my friend’s spectacular perennial garden. It was yet another amazingly warm summery day here in Minnesota. The thick, heavy air finally gave way to vast thunderstorms which swept away all the grime and made everything brilliant. I took this photo today at my friends gorgeous backyard garden. It inspired me to try planting some Bleeding Hearts for next Spring. They are so delicate and so beautiful.
Greetings from Minnesota…wish you were here! I took this photo on Friday at the Trial Gardens near Lake Harriet in Minneapolis. I found this photo fitting for my life. A busy bee! Check out what I’m up to this week on thirdeyemom.
Greetings from Virginia..wish you were here! Photo taken on our first family hike in the Shenandoah National Park. I spotted this trillium along the barren forest floor on our waterfall hike in the pre-Spring Shenandoah National Park. It was so lovely against the brown ground that I could hardly resist a photo of it reaching towards the sky.
