This week’s Photo Challenge is a wonderful subject: Blue. Blue happens to be my most favorite color. It is the color of the sea, the water, the sky and the eyes of my husband and children. I picked these two pictures below taken in the Milford Sound, South Island, New Zealand back in November 2002. I like the contrast of different hues of blues. Hope you enjoy!
Greetings from the Milford Sound….wish you were here! Photo taken in New Zealand’s Milford Sound in November 2004. When we arrived hours later at the Milford Sound, on the South Island of New Zealand, we were pleasantly greeted by this spectacular waterfall. Greetings from New Zealand’s fjord land…wish you were here! Photo taken on a cruise in the Milford Sound, South Island of New Zealand. November 2002. I’m saving the best for last….our cruise through the Milford Sound provided some of the most spectacular scenery we’d seen in New Zealand. Coming soon…a full post on thirdeyemom of our overnight cruise into utter pure New Zealand.

The South Island of New Zealand rocks! Unfortunately it is much better in print. It is almost ten years old, a panoramic photo that has […]

Like many places with huge snow-capped mountains, I fell in love with the charm and beauty of New Zealand’s South Island. We flew to Christchurch and rented a car, heading directly south towards the picturesque, adventure capital Queenstown. Along the way, I had to fit hard at my car sickness […]
