We just returned from a lovely weekend in Northern Minnesota at our friend’s cabin on tranquil Rabbit Lake. We went kayaking, paddle boating, and roasted marshmallows over a hot summer fire. It just so happens that I spent my weekend surrounded by water, in the heart of northern Minnesota and the start of the Boundary Waters Wilderness and Canoe Area (BWCA). This part of the country affords some of the most spectacular, untouched wilderness and bodies of water in the nation.
