How a city can be built up above on these dramatic cliffs that make up the island of Santorini is a mystery to me. How I dream of returning there again to watch the pale pink and scarlet red sunsets every night. Oh….but winter is coming!

Searching for olives in Corfu

Greetings from Greece…wish you were here! Photo taken on the island of Corfu in Greece in the Spring of 1993. A friend and I were visiting Greece during our Spring break studying abroad in France. We took the ferry over to Corfu from Italy and instantly I fell in love with the beauty and warmth of Greece. Little did I know I’d be coming back years later in 2000 for my honeymoon!

There is a reason why Santorini is one of the most romantic places on earth for a honeymoon….her amazing, spectacular sunsets. I could have stayed here forever, taking in the beauty of the colors splashing against the sea. Amazing.
