Its been awhile since I’ve written in here. It is not that I don’t have anything to say it is that time has escaped me. Today, I’m back to give you a treat. The clouds above the Condoriri Valley of the High Andes in Bolivia. A place that I will never forget.

In 2001, a mere two months after that fateful day, my father and I went to Peru to trek the Inca Trail. It was my first real trek and I’ve been addicted to trekking the high mountains ever since. Here are some of my favorite photos from that amazing journey. One I hope to do someday again with my children.
Greetings from the Andes…wish you were here! Photo taken on day three hiking the Inca Trail in Peru. November 2001. A few months after 9/11 my dad and I took our first major trekking trip together. We flew to Peru and then hiked the historic Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. It was a grueling three and a half days but the spectacular views of the Andes made it worth the while.
