Photo taken in June at the Temperance River State Park in northeastern Minnesota. I love the look of the lonely bridge off in the distance before the river runs into Lake Superior. The Temperance River is one of many in this part of Minnesota’s rugged North Shore and is one of the breading grounds for delicious Steelhead Trout. The fish swim upstream from massive Lake Superior and lay their eggs in the calmer, milder waters of the rivers. Two to […]
Greetings from Lutsen, Minnesota…wish you were here! Pair of Adirondack chairs taken outside of the historical Lutsen Lodge in Lutsen, Minnesota along the North Shore of Lake Superior.
Trilliums are abundant in the forests of Northern Minnesota. Their innocent beauty is breathtaking and mesmerizing. Photos taken hiking along the Superior Hiking Trail in Northeastern Minnesota.

Photo taken looking over the North Shore of Lake Superior in early June as a […]
Greetings from the shores of Lake Superior…wish you were here! I saw these along the cool, breezy shores of Lake Superior and thought they were spectacular. Hope you enjoy!

Yesterday, we took a three hour hike into the BWCA to Eagle Mountain, the highest point in Minnesota. […]
Did you know that Lake Superior is one of the largest freshwater bodies of water in the world? It is abound in gorgeous, pristine nature. I thought I would share two shots with you now. One of a wild rose closing at dusk and the other of a new friend I found this morning sunning on the porch. Some kind of unbelievable moth.
Here are two different takes of this amazing place, sunset and sunrise. As we are east we only get the reflections of the sun. Yet it is still spectacular. Ah, to be somewhere where the air is so pure and fresh, is a wonderful feeling.
