The Sunday Post: Silence

Jacksprinter’s Sunday post is silence. Nothing could mean silence more to me than watching the sunset over Roy Lake and capturing the magical, silent moments of the days end. Peaceful. Lovely. Silence of heart, soul and mind. Or capturing the last bit of day’s light over Cranberry Lake in Siren, Wisconsin. Last sunset

Picture of sun setting over Roy Lake in Nisswa, Minnesota. From our cottage porch, I watched the sunset over this old fishing boat every night for a week. Hearing the melodic cry of the loons in the foreground, I felt at peace. It was beautiful and will sure be missed.

Slim Pickings

We snuck in on the last day of Strawberry picking out at a farm near Nisswa. There were slim pickings indeed but the strawberries still melted in your mouth and dripped crimson red juice all over your hands. Better luck next summer!
