It is raining today and very dreary, a cross between rain and snow! I needed a little pick me up so searched my photos and found this one taken in August hiking the Tour de la Vanoise. Hope it brightens your day!

J’adore cheese and found myself in heaven during a week-long stay in the French Alps. Hiking and eating as much fromage as possible! We hiked to the most sensational spot for a picnic lunch. At a translucent glacial lake in Vanoise National Park, France. The cool, calm waters reflected the rocky mountains perfectly. It was so serene.
