Greetings from Beijing…wish you were here! Photo above taken at night of the Forbidden City, Beijing China, November 2011. I took this picture the first night I saw it. I could not believe how intimidating and foreboding the Forbidden City looked even at night. Greetings from Beijing…wish you were here! Photo above taken in Beijing in October. There is something magical and unexpected about Beijing’s numerous Hutongs (or narrow alleyways) that criss-cross the heart and soul of the city. Greetings from Beijing…wish you were here! Photo above taken on Wangfujing Walking and Shopping Street in Beijing China. Sometimes a picture can say a thousand words. That is how I felt about this one. I just returned from a whirlwind tour of China and was rudely awakened to the differing taste buds when I wondered upon this street vendor. No, I didn’t try one! Not my type. For more on my China trip, please see: http://www.thirdeyemom.com
