“The art of living lies in a fine mingling of letting go and holding on”. – Henry Havelock Ellis
We had a few hours to spare before heading to the airport in LA and decided to go on a family hike. Only ten minutes from our hotel lies the Malibu Creek State Park, 8,000 acres of rugged, almost virgin land in the heart of the Santa Monica Mountains. I could hardly believe our fortunate at finding such a beautiful, peaceful place.
Great shot Nicole! Happy New Year!

Thanks Alison! 🙂 I loved this park. I’m planning on writing a longer blog post on thirdeyemom about our visit.
It looks amazing, I’ll keep a note of this for our visit in April. We have been to Malibu before but never hiked.
