Your old lady reminds me of an old gentleman we ran into in Rhodes, Greece. He came over to talk to us. Unable to speak English he managed to ask us where we were from. I told him Canada. His reply was” makria” which means far in Greek. I’d love to paint them, they have so much character in their faces.

Wonderful portrait Nicole, it tells so much! I find it extremely simbolic, estarting by the title (I wonder what was in “your” mind?!)
Again, very well done!
What a beautiful old woman – I love the flowers in her hair…
Me too! 🙂

Yes so true. A friend commented that her face matched the lines of the tree. So true. So many years and so much seen in that face.
Oh God she is beautiful Nicole.
Yes she is. So much history. I love this picture. One of my favorites out of all 1200! 🙂

Yes. This is one of my favorite photos from the trip. Thanks!
She is deep in thoughts and the flowers in her hair say so much about her love for life…these simple things make life so beautiful and worth living..
Yes so true. I love this photo. It just reminds me so much of Cuba and my trip. 🙂
