A street in Xela, Guatemala

Photo taken in Xela, Guatemala in April 2012.

I don’t know about you but there is something extremely alluring about hilly streets especially ones in Central America. I adore the colorful buildings and doorways wandering, rolling, moving up and down the hills of this sleepy traditional Guatemalan town. I could have walked for hours taken pictures. Each street was unique and had so much to explore. I have found something special in Central America for it still remains relatively untouched. There are no McDonalds on this street and I hope there never will be.
