Lincoln Park leaves

Photo taken Saturday along the sidewalks of Lincoln Park in Chicago.

The leaves are still peaking in Chicago whereas most of ours have fallen to the ground. I love this photo of the fallen leaves splashed against the urban sidewalk with the single oddball green leaf. Felt a little like a random work of art.

  1. Beautiful. I didn’t have my camera with me the other day but we were on the river and I spied a group of trees that represented past, present, and future seasons. One tree was still all green, another was brilliant, and yet a third stood naked of all its leaves ready for the coming winter. I captured it in my memory instead. Glad you caught this piece of nature’s beauty in the midst of man.
