Free Spirit

Photo taken in Vanoise National Park, France. To view more photos on my six-day trek there, click here.

The Weekly Photo Challenge this week is to take a chance on a picture that is overexposed and illustrates a free spirit. When I happen to be in a place that’s beauty captivates me, I shoot away taking as many pictures as possible regardless of the light. I couldn’t think of a photo out of my collection that represented free spirit and the magical beauty of nature than this one above. It reminds me often that the world is your oyster. Go for it and seize the day!

    • Thanks Jennifer! I tried to get some shots of the blue moon last night as you post reminded me off. I wish I was better at night shots! The moon was casting a shadow on the sailboats in the lake. It was sensational but not sure if I can work the photo to turn out….

      • I tried too, but we had such cloud cover that it was impossible. I managed two shots but it just looks like a bright light in the sky! I’ve seen a few moon shots from last night and they are great. My camera can’t shoot that far!
