This week’s WordPress photo challenge is movement. Trying to capture any sort of movement on film has always proved difficult for me. Usually the photos I attempt to take during movement end up so bad that I delete them. However, these three photos during my recent trip to China captured the true essence of movement in the amazingly overpopulated city of Beijing.
The first is taken inside a moving taxi cab as we entered “ghost street” and the second two are taken from inside a speeding cab on our way to the train station. Judge for yourself and let me know what you think!

Fantastic shots! I love the first one in particular! 🙂
Thanks! That is my favorite too with the red blur of the Chinese lanterns!
Nice…very cool photographs! I will post mine shortly.
Hi Lola: I just found this comment and so sorry for not responding earlier. Sometimes I read through them on my iPhone and then come back to my computer to do the actual responses. I just found your blog and subscribed. It looks beautiful and I’m looking forward to reading more of your work! Cheers! Nicole
Great photos for the theme. It must have been quite scary inside that speeding taxi. 😉
Yes, especially once he hit the new highway in Shanghai and put the pedal to the medal. I was so scared I told him to “slow down!!!!!!!!!”

Thanks! 🙂
