Kayaking under the pink-orange sky

I took this photo last weekend while visiting a friends cabin in Northern Minnesota.

Floating peacefully across the still waters of the lake, listening to the distant cry of a loon. What on earth could be more serendipitous than taking out a kayak as the sun sets across a deserted lake in the heart of summer? I could have drifted there forever, forgetting all my worries and embracing the spectacular beauty of Mother Nature. What a beautiful world we have!

    • Thanks! 🙂 By the way, I meant to comment on your post today. I share a lot. At first I was rather shy about it, but then I decided to just let it all out. I believe everyone has gone through hard times. That is what life is all about. For me, writing about the hardships no matter how painful and hard they were, helped. I went through severe postpartum depression 7.5 years ago after the birth of my son Max. It was the lowest point I’ve ever been. I promised myself I’d write about it, talk about, and try to help others. Hopefully I have. So anyway, write what you feel comfortable with. Most of your good followers will encourage you, inspire you and help you out. I’m amazed at the friendships I’ve developed since blogging. (I’ve already met four fellow bloggers and have never been disappointed! Give us a try! 🙂

Comments always welcome and appreciated!
