After trekking for weeks in the Himalayas we finally came down to a small village where I found this young woman hunched over her loom making handwoven wool scarves. I bought a beautiful wool scarf for US$2 and felt sad. What a way to make a living.

Yes I could truly see you loving it there but there are no oceans nearby! Only high, high mountains! But the beauty for a photographer’s eye is spectacular!
I love mountains too and love hiking and climbing them, I just prefer to live by the ocean. I bet it’s a magical place for photography!
