It was a beautiful sunny morning so we decided to walk my son to school. On our way down 49th street, we passed a lovely set of purple Morning Glories beaming towards the sun. I have admired these flowers daily ever since they bloomed a month ago. When we passed by the flowers this morning the sun was especially hitting one flower more strongly than the rest. I had to take a picture even though my kids were almost a block ahead of me. I love how the shadow lies beside the flower like her other darker side. Something about it stuck with me.
