I became obsessed with the varying states of decay of some of the buildings and homes in Guatemala. Not only did I love the multiple layers of peeling paint which gave you insight into what the building had looked like over the years, I also loved the different kinds of foliage growing out of the buildings. The one above is supporting a tree!

Nicole, my favorite buildings in Antigua are the most dilapidated with layers of different colored crumbling paint and plants growing out of the roof! It was so much fun taking photos with someone who appreciated the same kind of beauty!
We seem to be like two peas in a pod, huh! That is what made our time together so great!!!! Enjoy the beauty there!
