Icelandic greenery is easily found

Greetings from Iceland…wish you were here!

Photo taken during a hike over Vik, Iceland during the summer of 2008.

I love Iceland. It is a place of wonder and delight where the greenness of the grass hurts your eyes. The contrasts between fire and ice are ever so present. There are geothermal pools, some of the largest glaciers in the world and bubbling springs and geysers. The hiking is sensational and the lack of people is startling. It is a true nature lovers delight where solitude and peace come easy.
