Springtime in Buenos Aires

Greetings from Buenos Aires…wish you were here!

There is something exciting above traveling to the other hemisphere in the midst of late Minnesota fall.  At home, all the once gorgeously adorned trees are now barren, with only brown, shriveled remnants of the past, and the grass is a hay-colored yellow.  It is one of the ugliest months in which everything looks dead.

Ten hours south by plane, we reached the cosmopolitan city of Buenos Aires with Spring time in full swing.  The Jacaranda trees were in full bloom, awash in purple flowers and so incredibly beautiful next to the old Parisien-style white buildings of Argentina.
