Eid, Mt. Sinai (photograph credit: Zully Rosado, Spiritual World Traveler)
Eid is a young Bedouin who has been guiding people up and down Mt. Sinai daily for the last 5 years or so. When asked why he didn’t go to college and get a job in Cairo since he was so smart and spoke English so well, he made a sweeping motion with his arm and said, “Why would I leave this?” (True story)
